What is the largest fish in the world?  The Whale Shark.

What is the largest whale?  The Blue Whale.  At least 100 feet long!

What is the largest snail?  The Australian Trumpet.  Grows to ~3 feet!

What is the largest Abalone?  The Red Abalone (Haliotis rufenscens) with the largest ever being 12 1/3 inches long.

Do all jellyfish sting?  No.  Some harvest energy from algae in their skin that photosynthesize!

Is a dolphin a fish or a mammal?  Both!  There is a fish called a dolphin (usually sold as Mahi Mahi, or as Dorado) and there is a mammal called a dolphin (a type of toothed whale).

What is the difference between a dolphin and a porpoise?  Dolphins have a snout, conical teeth, and a curved dorsal fin.  They tend to reside in very large pods of 30 - 1000 animals.  Porpoises lack a snout, have spade shaped teeth and triangular dorsal fins.  They tend to be in small pods of about 6 animals.

Do fish sleep?  Yes, but not quite the same way we do, they have periods of rest.

Do dolphins sleep?  Yes, but only one half of their brain at a time!  The other half stays awake to tell the body when to breath.  Unlike humans, dolphins have to think to breath.

What is the smallest whale?  The Harbor Porpoise is one of the smallest at ~5 feet when grown up.

Do all sea urchins sting?  No.  There are some with very short spines and some with stubby spines.
