sound evaluation of your conference will give you feedback on your work
and
will also help NMEA plan future conferences.
Which sessions, for example, drew the largest audiences? Which
sessions
were scheduled in rooms were too small?
Which sessions had very few attendees?
What topics would registrants like to see in future sessions? These are only a few of the questions that
will assist future conference committees build on what you have done
The
Evaluation Chairperson, working with the Conference Coordinator should
design
an evaluation plan for the conference. See sample forms in the
Appendix. Use
these to help you design your own form. Be sure not to leave out the
following
information on the form: the title of the session the type of session
(workshop, special lecture, and so on), the grade level (elementary,
high
school, and so on), the name of the room, the number of people in
attendance,
and space for people to give free‑wheeling opinions about the session
and about
the conference in general
